General practice needs structured, reliable support to assess their CQC position, address gaps and build sustainable readiness following significant organisational change.

With new contracts, mergers and staffing changes increasing regulatory risk, practices and PCNs commissioned At Scale to review their governance, processes and evidence to ensure ongoing CQC inspection readiness.

What we did

We conducted self-assessments, reviewed documentation, mapped processes to CQC frameworks and prioritised actions, offering flexible hands-on support delivered on-site or remotely to maintain operational continuity during preparation.

Outcomes

Organisations received clear, sustainable action plans and strengthened understanding of CQC expectations. Staff gained confidence through targeted mentoring and ongoing guidance, helping embed quality, support neighbourhood development and ensure services are well positioned for inspection and long-term improvement.

Spending the time looking at this proactively has been a really positive exercise. At Scale gave us practical clarity and reassurance.
