NHS England London needed experienced programme management support to deliver a complex, high-value transformation of primary and secondary dental services.
With responsibility for a £950m commissioning programme, the Dental, Optometry and Pharmacy directorate commissioned At Scale to support delivery, coordination and progress against ambitious transformation targets.
We supported the programme through hands-on programme management, establishing and operating a PMO, coordinating multiple workstreams and providing practical delivery support alongside the NHS team.
The programme delivered significant improvements to London’s dental services, improving equity and effectiveness. A structured PMO ensured coordinated delivery across workstreams while maintaining staff engagement and momentum throughout the transformation process.
