The Need

A North East London PCN needed clear strategic direction and practical governance arrangements to operate effectively across multiple practices during a period of uncertainty.

With limited management capacity and complex partnership arrangements, the PCN commissioned At Scale to develop a clear strategy, strengthen decision-making and support effective collaboration across practices.

What we did

We engaged PCN leaders and managers to understand challenges, developed a tailored strategy and implementation plan, and set out practical working arrangements to improve governance, performance management and decision-making.

Outcomes

The PCN now has a clear strategic foundation, defined roles and a performance management framework. Leaders are better equipped to operate collaboratively and make informed decisions, providing confidence and stability in a challenging operating environment.

We didn’t really know where to start in pulling our strategic plans together. At Scale helped us to make sense of this with a practical approach to strategy and governance which gave us the confidence and structure we needed to move forward together as a PCN.
